Course overview

The Bachelor Degree with Integrated International Foundation Year (Engineering) offers an opportunity to those international students who have the potential and motivation to succeed, but do not yet have the formal qualifications required for entry to Year 1 of a University of Leeds Engineering-related undergraduate degree programme.
The course lasts four years. Your first-year acts as 'Level 0' foundation year, and it has been designed in collaboration with the academic school of the degree course you will progress onto once you have successfully completed your foundation year. Within this route, there are specific pathways leading to a wide range of engineering degrees. Your modules will be selected based on the degree course you choose to progress onto.
Students studying the International Foundation Year will benefit from a fully on campus experience with teaching delivered through lectures, workshops and seminars, supported by virtual learning playforms to enhance the learning journey.

My biggest appreciation goes to my tutor. My tutor was amazing. I can say that I have been able to adjust to my first year at uni because of her. She was so patient, and supportive.Find out more about Rafaela Simao Da Silva's time at Leeds
