Overview
If you achieved good grades in high school outside of the UK, but your high school qualification does not meet the level required for admission to an undergraduate degree programme, you may need to complete an extra year of foundation study.
The Bachelor Degree with Integrated International Foundation Year enables you to take this foundation year (Year 0) directly within the University of Leeds. After achieving the required grades on the foundation year, you will progress onto Year 1 of your Bachelor degree programme.
In Year 0 of the programme, you will be taught by specialist academics to build skills in both UK-University level Academic Study Skills and subject-specific disciplines. This year is designed to best prepare you for undergraduate study in your chosen degree programme.
The subject-specific modules that you study will depend on the degree programme onto which you have chosen to progress. You can see the exact modules for your degree pathway on the course catalogue (linked in the Course Content section).
Student profile
“The academic staff are really helpful and easy to contact. If I ever need help or feel confused I can speak with them and they will take time to explain things to me in more detail.”
